SabreGuard® and SabreLine® Holmium Laser Fibers

SabreGuard® and SabreLine® holmium laser fibers from Coloplast feature a variety of single use and reusable fibers with tip and power options that help you find the exact fiber you need. All fibers are tested for power output before making their way into cases to ensure the Coloplast standard of quality.

Quick Look: SabreGuard® Holmium Laser Fibers

SabreGuard Holmium Laser FibersSabreGuard® holmium laser fibers are single-use, specialty fibers designed to reduce cost and promote clear procedural visibility. The round fiber tip on the SabreGuard® fiber allows it to pass through a 270 degree deflected scope without causing damage to the inner lining or the need to straighten the scope saving costly scope repairs and procedure time. The small outer diameter of the fiber allows for more irrigation in the surgical field which improves visibility.

All fibers are tested for power output before making their way into cases to ensure the Coloplast standard of quality you expect.

Rounded Fiber Tip

  • Passes through  working channel of fully deflected (270 degree) scope without damage to the inner lining
  • Unlike other fibers on the market, the unique round tip design prevents energy concentration loss at fiber tip
  • Round tip fibers require less force to insert through ureteroscope compared to straight tip fibers1

Connector Design

  • Compatible with any cleared surgical laser with an SMA-905 connector
  • Directs energy to the silica core for high and efficient energy output
  • Built-in blast shield designed to mitigate the potential for errant energy that may damage the fiber or laser

Cost Savings

  • Round tip saves costly OR time by eliminating the need to straighten deflected endoscope while fiber is being passed through working channel
  • Round tip fibers have shown to reduce scope repairs compared to blunt tip fiber2
  • Data has shown overall cost savings of $81.27 per case when a round tip fiber is used2

Quick Look: SabreLine® Holmium Laser Fibers

SabreGuard Holmium Laser FibersSabreLine® holmium laser fibers are purposefully designed to deliver laser energy to hard and soft tissue during surgical laser procedures. Popular 200, 272, and 365 single-use fibers are constructed with a fiber tip featuring curved edges to decrease scope damage. 200, 272, and 365 sized fibers also feature a small outer diameter to promote greater deflection, irrigation, and procedural visibility. Large 550-micron and 940-micron fibers are high powered options at 200W of maximum energy. SabreLine® fibers are compatible with any cleared surgical laser with a SMA-905 connector.

All fibers are tested for power output before making their way into cases to ensure the Coloplast standard of quality.

Tip Talk

  • Unique radius tip found on popular single-use 200, 272, and 365 options protect against scope damage during everyday use
  • Standard straight fiber tip featured on large 550 and 940 single-use fiber sizes and all reusable sizes
  • All fiber tips are precision processed and polished to remove sharp edges and reduce imperfections

Plug it In

  • All fibers are compatible with any cleared surgical laser with SMA-905 connection
  • Single-use fibers feature a built-in blast shield designed to mitigate errant energy damage to the fiber or laser generator

Power, Visualization, and Deflection

  • Coloplast 550 and 940 offer high-power output at 200W
  • SabreLine® 200, 272, and 365 fibers are designed to have a small outer diameter that promotes greater deflection, irrigation, and procedural visibility
